Scott Grove, internationally-renowned master craftsman, will teach you how to inlay exquisite crushed opal to any bowl, platter or hollow form rim, and add creative, aesthetic, and monetary value to your work. He will describe the differences between encapsulated, exposed, and see-through inlays, and how to create each type using a myriad of techniques. He’ll cover basic inlay methods, compare resin options (CA, epoxy, UV-cure polyester), the sanding and finishing process, and include a bunch of tips and tricks. During the live, interactive demonstration, his wife and co-host, Nancy, helps organize Q&A and provides resource links in real time.
